St. Theresa of Calcutta; Ministry by Music

“Sisters of the Poor” referred to Saint Theresa of Calcutta are the Missionaries of Charity, a religious order she founded in 1950 to serve the “poorest of the poor”.

We are not affiliated to the Sisters of the Poor or Saint Theresa of Calcutta’s Missionaries of Charity.

Ian Duncan Henery met Mother Theresa of Calcutta when he was 18 years old and worked with her in the leper colonies of India. He picked up dead bodies from the streets of Calcutta with his good friend, Robert Deeley, and brought them to Mother Theresa for blessing and burial.

She blessed Ian and has been a guiding light for Ian throughout his lifer since.
